I adored this book, plain and simple. It grabbed hold of me from page one and didn’t let go until the very end. The story drew me in like a magnet, making me forget about everything else as I delved into the lives of Jack Eversea and Keri Ann Butler.
There’s something magical about the way the author tells their unlikely love story. Despite having seen similar plots before, there was a unique honesty and charm to this one that kept me hooked.
Keri Ann’s character resonated with me deeply. At just twenty-two, she’s already faced so much loss and responsibility. She’s stuck in a routine, going through the motions without truly living. But when Jack, a famous actor seeking refuge from his own troubles, enters her life, everything changes.
Jack is like a whirlwind, disrupting Keri Ann’s quiet existence in the best possible way. Despite her attempts to resist, she can’t help but be drawn to him. Their chemistry crackles and sparks fly as they navigate an unlikely friendship that soon turns into something more.
Both characters are beautifully flawed, struggling with their own insecurities and doubts. Keri Ann can’t believe someone like Jack would be interested in her beyond friendship, while Jack grapples with his identity outside of fame.
Their relationship is a rollercoaster of emotions, filled with moments of joy and heartbreak. I felt every high and every low right alongside them as they navigated the complexities of love and fame.
The story gripped me so completely that I immediately dove into the sequel, eager to continue following Jack and Keri Ann’s journey. It’s a love story that’s both enchanting and heartbreaking, leaving me eagerly awaiting the next chapter in their lives.
